Get Ready for Fall 2021 Career Weeks

Get a head start on your post-graduate job and summer internship hunt during two weeks of career events and activities for all Poole students from Sept. 20 to Oct. 1.

Career Fair Meeting Schedules Launch on Sept. 24

Both the Supply Chain Career Fair and the Poole Career and Internship Fair will be hosted in the Career Fair Plus app. You must make appointments with individual companies prior to the event. Download the app on your phone and laptop today to create your profile. Mark your calendars for Friday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. when registration opens for you to begin scheduling appoints with your top employers.

Save the Date: Inclusive Leader Conversations on Sept. 29

Listen to panelists of company leaders from organizations including Cintas, EY, NetApp, Regions Bank and SAS on the best diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices in the workplace. This virtual pre-career fair event will also focus on each company’s diversity & inclusion initiatives and why they value diversity in their organization.

Business Analytics Honors Program Applications Open Now

Applications for the Business Analytics Honors program are now open until Oct. 15. This program offers select Poole College undergraduate students additional preparation for careers in the high-demand field of business analytics.

Student Organization Spotlight: Poole Council

Poole Council is a student leadership organization that works with the Office of Undergraduate Programs (OUP) to connect students with organizations, industry opportunities, and OUP. Some events that we host include the semi-annual Poole Party to help students get involved, tabling events to get feedback from students, and other social events. We are currently recruiting for class representatives, so be sure to submit your application by Oct. 8, 2021.

SolarPack is the solar vehicle team at NC State focused on promoting the advent of sustainability. We are in the process of building a completely solar-powered car to compete against other universities to show what NC State students are capable of doing. Liquid Rocketry Lab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, student-led engineering-focused team with a goal to design, fabricate, test, and launch a liquid-fueled rocket to reach the Karman Line (100km altitude), the official 'edge of space'.
