Dear Poole students and recent graduates,
The Poole community is excited to celebrate your success at the Poole College Commencement Ceremony that will be held on Dec. 14 at 11:30 a.m. at PNC Arena, following the University Commencement.
Below are important reminders about the event:
- Arrival time. All graduates should arrive between 10:45-11 a.m., if not participating in the university ceremony. The Poole ceremony begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. Graduating students should park and enter at the North Service entrance.
- Safety protocol. Masks are required for all participants and guests. Vaccination is not required.
- RSVPs and guest information. Student RSVPs are encouraged but not required. No tickets are needed for students or guests. Graduates are able to invite an unlimited number of guests.
- Event flow. During the college’s ceremony, all undergraduate and graduate degree recipients will walk across the stage while their name is being announced.
- Commencement program. Each graduate will receive a printed version of the commencement program at the event and a limited number of printed programs will be available for guests. The program will also be available online on the day of the event.
- Clear bag policy. PNC Arena has a clear bag policy for guests, however, graduation participants (students, faculty and staff) entering through the North Service Entrance will not have to follow the policy. Students are encouraged to bring as little as possible into the arena with them.
