We have recently announced that Poole College will hold its Virtual Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 13 at 6 p.m. EST. This email will provide you with additional information on what to expect from the event.

Event Details

• We will recognize each graduating student individually with a name being read and a personalized slide.
• Graduating students, Poole faculty and staff are invited to join the event through Zoom. The chat will be available during the event and you will be able to turn your camera on. Show us your academic regalia and your unique cap design!
• Parents and guests will be able to watch the event through YouTube.
• At Poole and NC State, we are respectful and inclusive of others. Publishing abusive, offensive, vilifying, discriminatory or harassing comments in any form will not be tolerated, and will lead to consequences and possibly exclusion from the virtual ceremony.

Meet the Commencement Speaker

Paula Henderson, executive vice president and chief sales officer at SAS, will address spring and summer 2021 graduates at the college's virtual commencement ceremony.

At SAS, Henderson leads a variety of teams across the Americas in industries such as government, financial services, health care, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, energy and telecommunications.

Henderson is an NC State and Poole College alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in management she received in 1994. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Meredith College in 1996.
